During construction with emphasis on detail only quality building materials were used. Jatoba – a category 1 hardwood – was used for all door and window frames, as well for (sliding) windows, doors and shutters. Scandinavian rooftop beams were impregnated.  Roof-, wall-, floor tiles, hinges, locks, bathroom interiors are all of imported dutch make.

The 65 feet (20 meter) deep front garden is fully automatic watered by a drip system. It uses rainwater collected in a large cistern under the porch, also from a smaller one at the front. In dry periods WEB water or septic tank water is used. The pump house for the Hayward pool equipment (salt / chlorine) is located behind the annex.

Surroundings

Be part of history: This house was the first completed villa in the luxury Sabadeco neighbourhood. The house has always been well maintained and is in good condition. Sabadeco’s roads and infrastructure are of good quality. Playa, the center of Kralendijk is 10 minutes away by car. Restaurants and a supermarkt are in the vicinity.
