Global Underwater Explorer’s “DIR Fundamentals” on Bonaire
Caribbean Gas Training is now offering the GUE “DIR Fundamentals” course on Bonaire in addition to their existing technical diving services. In cooperation with Bonaire Dive & Adventure, they are excited to be able to present this comprehensive 4-day program developed by GUE to certified divers.
The “DIR Fundamentals” class lays the foundation for further advancement into deep mixed-gas and cave diving, but is equally invaluable to the photographer or fish identifier, or for just about any diver wanting to improve his knowledge and skills.
GUE Instructor Benji Schaub takes candidates on 5 dives and will cover about 8-10 hours of theory, including advanced buoyancy control, trim and propulsion techniques, as well as effective underwater communications and safe air-sharing techniques.
For this purpose, students get to use the most streamlined, durable and functional equipment configuration in existence; and while all of this is taught in a team-based context, there is plenty of room for individual attention and improvement.
